One again we welcomed our friends from Maurecourt over the weekend of 13th to 16th May. Whilst the weather was on the cool side, the entente cordiale was as warm as ever. We enjoyed a lovely evening cruise on the Queen of the Broads, with Pimms served on board and a fantastic Hog Roast. Then on Sunday we took a cultural trip to Great Yarmouth where the Time and Tide museum was much appreciated by all. The weekend ended with a vin d’honneur at the Memorial Hall, made all the more special with the attendance of Yvonne Lees who has been decorated with the Order of the Légion d’Honneur. The toasts were all to friendship; never mind the vote, vive le jumelage!
